Boston Commuter Boat Services
Say good-bye to traffic hassles. With BHC's commuter boat fleet you can sit back, relax, have coffee, read a newspaper and take the stress out of your daily commute. On-board Wi-Fi is also available on some routes (Hingham-Boston) so you can check your e-mail or surf the Internet.
BHC operates several of the MBTA commuter boat services that carry thousands of passengers to and from work each day. We've operated the Inner Harbor Ferry service between Charlestown Navy Yard and Long Wharf since 1986, and we also run the Hingham Commuter Boat service between the South Shore and Rowes Wharf using our hi-speed catamarans.
Inner Harbor Ferry tickets can be purchased at our Inner Harbor Ferry ticket kiosks at the dock during the summer and on board during the off-peak season. MBTA 1-day and 7-day Charlie Ticket Link passes can also be used on this service. These can be purchased at any MBTA station.
Tickets and passes for the Hingham service can be purchased at the Rowes Wharf and Hingham ticket offices. Monthly boat passes can also be purchased online at the MBTA secure site.
