Harbor Island Events

Host a destination event—just 20 minutes from Long Wharf. The Boston Harbor Islands are like an escape to another world.  Boston Harbor Cruises will provide the transportation, and we’ll arrange a celebration you and your guests will never forget.

Spectacle Island

20-minute boat ride from Boston. Private evening events. 40’ – 60’ tent with picnic tables. Fire pits on marina beach.

Georges Island

45-minute boat ride from Boston. Daytime and evening private events. 40’ – 80’ tent with picnic tables. Lawn games.

Peddocks Island

50-min boat ride from Boston. Private Evening Events. Historic World War II Chapel available to reserve for events. Island attractions include hiking trails, scenic viewpoints, and historic Fort Andrews.

What route does the cruise take?

Cruises depart from Long Wharf sailing along Boston’s waterfront toward the beautiful Boston Harbor Islands. We’ll continue on to the Charlestown Navy Yard with breathtaking views of Boston’s skyline and historic locations such as the USS Constitution, Bunker Hill Monument and Old North Church.

Will I have to share the boat with another event?

Not at all. The boat is completely yours for the duration of your event.

Can our charter depart from somewhere other than Long Wharf?

Certain vessels can depart from locations such as Charlestown Navy Yard, Fan Pier or Logan Airport. Additional docking fees may apply.

Where is the best place for guests to park?

There's a parking garage located next to the Aquarium, which is the closest parking. All Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall Parking is within convenient walking distance to Long Wharf. Commercial Street in the North End also offers some affordable and convenient open-air lots.

What if we plan an event lasting longer than 3 hours?

Overtime is charged at a minimum of $1,000 per hour.  Boats must always return to Long Wharf by midnight.

Do you provide audiovisual equipment?

We are happy to assist you in setting up equipment for your event.

What other arrangements can you help us with?

We can also provide recommendations for entertainment, florists, photographers and transportation.
