Frequently Asked Questions
1) Do you recommend advance reservations for Codzilla?
While reservations are not required, we strongly recommend you purchase your Codzilla tickets in advance if you know the specific day and time you want to attend.
2) What kind of boat is it?
Codzilla is Boston's first and only high-speed thrill boat ride featuring two turbo-charged diesel engines generating 2,800 horsepower and speeds of approximately 40 miles an hour.
3) Will I get wet?
Although we can’t guarantee a good soaking, Codzilla is a wet ride and you may experience anything from a light saltwater spray to a shirt-wringing splash. As such we recommend wearing casual clothing and footwear. Free waterproof bags and $2.00 ponchos are available onboard.
4) Can I make a ticket reservation online?
Yes! Boston Harbor Cruises offers online ticketing for all Codzilla departures. Click on the link to purchase your tickets online. Tickets may also be purchased by phone, or in person at our Ticket Center on Long Wharf. If you do book online there is no "will call" window since BHC offers hassle-free dockside check-in.
5) What happens if I've reserved tickets but can't make it for the cruise?
Unfortunately, advance-order tickets for all Codzilla rides are non-refundable. But they may be transferred to another day and time depending on availability. Transfers cannot be handled online or over the phone – only in person at the BHC Ticket Center.
6) Do you offer discounts for large groups?
We do have discounted group rates for parties of 25 or more. Please see our Group Tours page for more information.
7) Do you sell gift cards for your cruises?
We do. Please call or e-mail using the information on our Contact page with your specific request, and we'll get right back to you! Gift Cards are also available for purchase at our Ticket Center on Long Wharf.
