ALERT: Saturday, 9/23/17: Due to extreme weather the following trips have been cancelled: Salem Ferry and Whale Watches.
Important P-Town Service Alert for Saturday September 23, 2017. We are still experiencing very high sea conditions on this route from the effects of Tropical Depression Jose and expect service impacts to carry into tomorrow’s service. Unfortunately coach or bus operators in the region are very busy with other work on Saturday, and we have very limited access to bus support should it be required. In consideration of limited coach availability, we have only been able to secure coaches to back-up the 9:00 am departure from Boston to Provincetown, and the 11:00am and 4:00pm departures from Provincetown to Boston with very limited capacities. It currently appears, we will be unable to back-up the following departures with coaches should the ferry not be able sail tomorrow: Boston to P-Town at 2:00pm and 6:30, and P-Town to Boston at 8:30pm. Valid BHC ferry tickets for all Saturday departures will be honored on any trip based on availability on the ferry or coach. The current forecast projects improvement throughout the day tomorrow. As soon as sea conditions are safe for transit, the Salacia will be underway and on schedule. This alert will be updated with changes as they develop.
