A Grand Day for a Parade

The North Drumlin of Spectacle Island provides the highest vantage point in Boston Harbor.  So, get ready for some great views - and informative narration - as the magnificent Tall Ships parade by.  The day also features lots fun activities, including lawn games, face painting, crafts and much more, plus an inviting array of lush trails just waiting to be wandered on.  Breakfast pastries and coffee will be served upon arrival and you'll also enjoy a BBQ lunch buffet with your choice of hamburger, hot dog or veggie option, chips and a drink.

Special Day, Special Requirements

Because Sail Boston 2017 is a large scale, international event, special requirements have been put in place by the USCG and local law enforcement to ensure security, safety and enjoyment for all.  Therefore, passengers will be subject to security screenings and all must adhere to the list of prohibited and allowed items (right).  In addition,  To ensure timely admittance into the Long Wharf boarding area, Boston passengers should arrive at least 90 minutes prior to scheduled departure time.

PLEASE NOTE:  Visitors will be on Spectacle Island for up to 8 hours or more.  There will not be any service back to Boston or Hingham prior to scheduled departures.  Return departures will be subject to clearance from USCG and law enforcement following the Parade's conclusion and may be subject to delays.
