Provincetown Fast Ferry - Frequently Asked Questions
1) Do you recommend advance reservations for your Provincetown Fast Ferry?
While reservations are not required, we strongly recommend you purchase your fast ferry tickets in advance if you know the specific day and time you want to travel. If you know your departure and return dates, remember to secure tickets for both legs of your journey so you’re assured of keeping to your schedule. If you like playing it loose, we also offer one-way fares with the ability to purchase your return leg at a later date.
2) What kind of ferry is it?
The BHC Provincetown Fast Ferry Salacia is the largest and fastest passenger-only catamaran in the country. She’s filled with interior amenities assuring the most comfortable ride possible while traveling at speeds of up to 40 knots, getting you to and from Provincetown in only 90 minutes. Plus, the ferry’s overall size combined with a computerized ride stabilization system makes this the smoothest, most comfortable transit available on water.
3) Can you recommend things to do in Provincetown?
The Provincetown Fast Ferry has a full service concierge desk aboard. Just ask your BHC concierge for dining, entertainment and lodging recommendations and get a head start on your vacation or day trip. Plus our concierge desk is loaded with area brochures and great maps to help you find your way.
4) Is there food on board?
Boston Harbor Cruises offers a full line of food and drink aboard our vessels. Our galleys feature a variety of lunch and breakfast sandwiches, hot dogs, hot pretzels, cereal, nutritional bars, fruit, nuts, candy, chips and popcorn to name a few. BHC vessels are equipped with water, fruit juices, iced tea, sports drinks, soda coffee and tea, as well as a full bar serving beer, wine and top shelf cocktails.
