Witness the Height of Sailing Achievement

Classic schooners, grand clippers, barques and brigs—all evoking the great Age of Sail—will participate in this, the most spec-tacular Tall Ships procession to take place in Boston since 2000.

A Grand Buffet

There'll be lots of pomp and circumstance on the water and on your plate as you enjoy a spectacular breakfast and lunch from acclaimed chef Barbara Lynch.  From a selection of breakfast breads and bacon and eggs in the morning, to lobster rolls and short ribs for lunch, your culinary experience is sure to be grand.  For the full menu, click here.

Grand Parade of Sail Cruise FAQs

Do you recommend advance reservations?

We strongly recommend that you reserve your trip.  Trip will sell out.

Can I make a ticket reservation online?

Yes. Click here to reserve your tickets online.

Do you offer discounts for large groups?

We do have discounted group rates for parties of 25 or more. Please fill out our Group Tours inquiry form for more information.

How long is the cruise?

The cruise is scheduled for 8 hours, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.  Return time however, is subject to change based on the parade’s conclusion and clearance for us to make our way back to Long Wharf.  Therefore, please allow for extra time in your schedule.

Will I see the ships under full sail?

We can't guarantee the exact number of ships that you will see or which ones will be under full sail, but we will work with the Coast Guard and Race Marshals to ensure a spectacular vantage point for you to enjoy the color and splendor of the day.

Should I bring anything on board?

Since this is an all day cruise, we suggest you bring sunscreen, a light jacket and, of course, your camera!

Are beverages available on board?

To complement your continental breakfast and buffet lunch, our galleys offer a cash bar with a selection of fruit juices, sodas and other beverages along with beer, wine and cocktails. Please Note: at sea, credit/debit card transactions are sometimes not possible, so it’s a good idea to have cash on hand.

Are gift cards available for this special cruise?

Gift cards are available for all BHC cruises, but due to the special nature, magnitude and expected attendance of this event, this cruise - and our other Tall Ships cruises -  will sell out well ahead of time.  Therefore, we strongly suggest that if giving a Tall Ships cruise as a gift, you purchase tickets rather than an unreserved gift card to avoid having the recipient shut out from a sold out cruise.
