Official USS Constitution Museum Turnaround Spectacular

Watching USS Constitution set sail is a sight to behold, but this year her annual Fourth of July turnaround will be even more historic. That’s because this year, the US Navy and Operation Sail are joining forces to commemorate the bicentennial of the War of 1812 and the pivotal role played by the US Navy and USS Constitution in helping the fledgling United States repel British forces.

Get your tickets online now for what will surely be sold out luncheon cruises (with equally incredible menus). Narrated tours of Boston's inner harbor by USS Constitution Museum staff will focus on the annual holiday turning of Constitution as she voyages out to Castle Island in South Boston to fire a 21-gun salute before returning to her berth in Charlestown.

This year however, Constitution will have some special guests accompanying her. The US Coast Guard Barque Eagle will be alongside as the US Navy’s Blue Angels perform their famous aerial demonstrations overhead. It’s an experience you do not want to miss, and something none of us will probably see again in this generation.

Not only do you get to witness history up close aboard Boston Harbor Cruises’ advanced fleet of luxury vessels, you also get to partake in an amazing lunch menu with narration provided by an expert historian from the Constitution Museum. Hey, it’s the Fourth of July, and we’re pulling out all the fireworks.

USS Constitution only makes the trip once a year, and a celebration like the 1812 Bicentennial doesn’t come along often – so don't miss our 3-hour cruises departing from Long Wharf in Boston and the Charlestown Navy Yard.
