How do I call a BHC Water Taxi?
Call 617-227-4320 any time during business hours for pick-up, or just look for our checkerboard signs throughout the waterfront. Hop aboard and buy your tickets right on the boat.
Do you recommend calling ahead?
Our Water Taxis operate on demand, just call us when you know your departure time and location. It takes approximately 15 – 20 minutes (or often less) for a vessel to pick you up, so keep this in mind in your planning.
How long will my ride be?
Depends on a combination of weather, rider demand and destination. Like a traditional cab ride, it takes about 10-20 minutes, depending on the stop.
Do Water Taxis only operate in summer?
BHC Water Taxis operate year-round with our boats covered and heated during colder seasons.
Do you offer discounts for large groups?
We do have discounted group rates. Please email Doug Hall for more information.
Are gift cards available?
Yes. You may purchase gift cards online, over the phone or in-person at our ticket booths. Or use the information on our contact page to call or email us and we’ll get right back to you.
Are multi-ride passes available?
Yes, we offer a 10-Ride Pass for $120 and a 30-Day Pass with unlimited rides for $350. Restrictions apply.
Are pets allowed on BHC boats?
BHC is pet-friendly and offers many cruises that do allow pets – with some restrictions and exclusions.
- Animals onboard must be kept with you and leashed or kept in a carrier at all times.
- For safety reasons, pets are not allowed on Codzilla.
- Service animals ONLY are permitted in the Boston Harbor Islands State and National Park.
- Pets onboard the Provincetown Ferry must be kept on the inside or outside of the Main Deck only. For the consideration of other passengers, please no pets on the upper deck.
PLEASE NOTE: Pet owners should be aware of the length of the cruise that they are embarking on (up to 4 hours for whale watches and 90 minutes for Provincetown Ferry) and consider if it is appropriate for the pet’s comfort and wellbeing.
